Personal data processing policy
By applying for a job offer on the Gaillard Banifatemi Shelbaya Disputes site, you authorise Gaillard Banifatemi Shelbaya Disputes (hereinafter referred to as the ‘Recruiter’), which is responsible for data processing, to collect your personal data and to use them in the context of a recruitment process and any hiring procedure.
We collect and process the following data: your last name(s), first name(s), email address, telephone number, curriculum vitae and any other optional information you may wish to share with us.
Your data will also be used to contact you, process your application and possibly draw up an employment contract.
You are not obliged to provide this information. Your data is processed on the basis of your consent, including where it has been collected on the basis of the Recruiter’s legitimate interest in processing your application.
If you do not consent, your data will be deleted from all our databases. However, please note that any failure or refusal to communicate your data cancels the application process.
You are reminded that in the context of the processing of your data and in accordance with the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 applicable from 25 May 2018 (hereinafter ‘GDPR’) and Law no. 78-17 of 6 January 1978 as amended, relating to information technology, files and freedoms, you have the right to know whether we hold your data and if so, you have the following rights under the conditions specified in the GDPR:
Right of access (article 15 of the GDPR);
Right of rectification (article 16 of the GDPR);
Right to erasure (article 17 of the GDPR);
Right to limitation of processing (article 18 of the GDPR);
Right to portability (article 20 of the GDPR);
Right to object (article 21 of the GDPR).
All the rights listed above are personal and may only be exercised by the person who has communicated his/her data to the Recruiter.
To exercise your rights or to make any other request concerning the processing of your data, you may contact the Recruiter directly, whose data protection representative’s contact details appear on the application confirmation email.
Your data may be retained by the Recruiter for a maximum period of 24 months. After this period, you will receive an e-mail proposing that you update your data. If you do not reply within 10 days, your data will be deleted from the databases.
Your data is not processed automatically. As part of the processing described herein, all appropriate technical, organisational and security measures are taken to prevent any unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, destruction or loss of your data, which is hosted in data centres located within the European Union for the entire duration of the processing. Unless otherwise provided by law, regulation or court order, access to your data will be restricted to Recruiter’s employees and, where applicable, its customers, when the latter need to consult and/or use it for the purposes described.
Data controller and purpose
Gaillard Banifatemi Shelbaya Disputes, hereinafter referred to as ‘We’, is responsible for the processing, the purpose of which is to manage applications sent to it.
By providing us with your personal data, you agree that we may use them to study your application and that we may forward your application to our subsidiaries, branches and agencies.
The data processed
The personal data you may be asked to provide is voluntary. The fields marked with an asterisk are compulsory for us to be able to process your application.
The data we collect and process includes your surname, first name, postal address and e-mail address, as well as the information on your CV and covering letter.

We inform you that your personal data will be used by us for the purposes of processing your application or so that we can contact you at a later date if a job offer is likely to be suitable for you.
Your rights with regard to the data collected about you
